The Works
Writing is fun. Computers are neat. Life is cool. Jesus loves you - all basic facts of life. Here is where I ramble about such things and hopefully share some interesting experience and thoughts for your edification. All of my resources, projects and works are found underneath the blog posts. In the words of Gabe Newell... thanks and have fun.

Nothin' like exercising your audio-visual muscles like making playlists and album artwork for your friends...! Take a listen.

Resources
The less blog-y stuff lands here. Godspeed!
- Hosting Your Website on HTTP and HTTPS for Old AND New Computers
- ----- A quick guide covering the basic steps of getting a domain name, setting up a Linux VPS/server, configuring NGINX and FTP. By following this, you can have a website you can view and manage ENTIRELY from any computer that supports HTTP and FTP, accessible by computers both old and new!
- The Unskippables
- ----- A list of my favorite albums that I believe don't have a single bad track on them.
- PowerPC Macintosh Guide
- ----- Going from 0 to a fresh install of OSX Tiger on an iMac G3. The info has already been out there, but I've not seen a comprehensive guide to such a process yet - so here it is! Happy retro computing!
- Of harmonicas and history: archive of the album "I Want to Walk the Path" - St. John the Baptist Catholic Choir
- ----- The first Catholic parish established in Oklahoma has also had an affinity for harmonicas. This album was recently removed from their website, in danger of becoming CATHOLIC LOST MEDIA until someone prompted me to make sure this is preserved. Take a read and a listen, I think it's more interesting than you might reckon!!
Project Graveyard
Projects that have gone before us all too soon. These link to the original project pages, so links and references on here will probably get more broken over time.
- JOJO2K Radio - R.I.P. 2023 - 2025
- ----- Internet radio station dedicated to my eclectic music choices. Wanted to have a way of throwing on whatever music in the background at any given time without having to manage files on this or that device or spend 10 minutes thinking about what I wanted to listen to. This had all the music I like that will never find itself on Spotify or similar services.
- Weather Tunes - R.I.P. 2025 - 2025
- ----- I found a retro Weather Channel recreation project and loved it, but its music options were lacking. So I made a fork of it, made a new instance of AzuraCast to add an internet radio station to it and planned to add tons of Weather Channel-like music to the station and keep this playing on various displays at home or work. While learning how to work with everything involved was informative, I quickly found that I liked picking specific music mixes depending on what music I was feeling like at a given time. Heck, I really liked pairing it with a local classical radio station that you can stream online since that also provided things like an actual human hosting music and other breaks from music that come with that. So with the music part out, I figure I'll just stick with the original creator's instance of this project since it'll probably have 24/7 uptime, updates and so on.
